I’m talking to you right now because I have PERSONALLY gone through this glory filled adventure and I continue to walk along these trails on a daily basis. I’m someone who has learned what it TAKES to get LONG-term results, to eject yourself from the yo-yo dieting cycle, and ultimately have a transformation in LIFESTYLE. How did I learn how to do this? FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.
Let me tell you a little about me. I’m not someone who has the ‘look good’ genetics. I didn’t grow up ripped out while getting recruited to a modeling career. I’m not someone who naturally has mounds of muscles. I’m a dude who has STRUGGLED to get results. You see, genetically my body holds fat VERY easily. If I eat an average american/college diet, I blimp up FAST. Well I realized this in high school when I began gaining a lot of fat. I was always into sports, so when I found out it was basically required to be in weights class for football I was like “heck yes!” I was excited to DO SOMETHING to change my body. My issue was always CONSISTENCY. I couldn’t get myself to be consistent, month after month, year after year. We all know there’s no substitute for hard work and dedication. We all know that we absolutely must gain consistency if we are to experience long term success in the area of health, fitness, and overall wellness.
So as the years past, I entered the same cycle that many of you are probably in; yo yo dieting and exercising. I would go hardcore for a few months, watching what I ate, lifting and running hard, and I would start getting some results. But invariably I would fall off the wagon; I would quit. “Results came too slow! It’s too hard. I don’t have time. You couldn’t expect me to give up eating cookies and ice cream for good! COME ON!!!” was what my subconscious mind was screaming out. So what would happen? I would begin to blimp up, I would be unenthusiastic about it, eventually the unenthusiasm would turn into dissent and I would finally get my butt in gear, start working hard, start getting some results and quit. The cycle went on and on. I knew SOMETHING WAS WRONG. I simply couldn’t stick with it! I thought the solution would be to train other people. To become a trainer, that was the answer for my own dilemma right? Well I became a Certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine. I worked for Bally Total Fitness for over a year as a personal trainer, and since then I’ve had my own independent personal training business. During these cycles I trained with some of the best bodybuilders in the state. I’ve also trained with some of the best college and professional athletes. I was proud of my accomplishments helping people lose weight and get closer to their ideal selves. However, how could I get someone to have a true, long term, lifestyle transformation if I couldn’t get myself to do this!? I STILL struggled with consistency. I STILL had not pieced together what it took to stick to a work out and eating regimen.
The bottom line: I hadn’t experienced a real TRANSFORMATION.
You and I both know that there are no magic pills, no magic workout equipment, no magic workout routine, MAGIC ANYTHING DOESN’T EXIST. Deep down, we all know that what we need is consistent hard work and dedication. We need a system. We need accountability, we need structure and new knowledge. We need CONSISTENCY. But how? Ultimately it comes from a total rewiring of how we think. That’s when consistency will come. It’s about going from temporary motivation toward a DESIER LEVEL CHANGE. That’s when it will be effortless to eat and live in accordance with the laws of health and fitness. That’s when temptation will subside. Finally, getting results won’t be about mustering up will-power. It will just be WHO YOU ARE. What I’m really talking about here is creating habits that STICK.
I’m proud to announce that consistency is no longer an issue for me. I’m really not tempted to eat cookies and ice cream anymore. I no longer yo yo diet, or yo yo exercise. It doesn’t take will power for me to exercise. I’m proud to say that I consistently live in accordance with the laws of health and fitness, and guess what? I love every second of it. Healthy living has been stapled into my soul, and there’s absolutely no turning back. So how did this occur for me? After much reflection and desire to help others, it came down to these 6 elements. This is the map for success. The map for a glory-filled adventure of LASTING lifestyle change.
1. I learned about how my brain worked and HOW I could take charge of it
2. I made myself accountable and treated it like a life or death matter
3. I created personalized systems for myself on a weekly basis
4. I measured my results on a weekly basis and made changes accordingly
5. I took time each day for inspiration and motivation
6. I increased my technical knowledge of WHAT to do and WHY I should be doing it
Let me take a second to expound.
1. You must understand that your mind has a mind of its own. You subconscious mind is a POWERFUL machine. It controls how you feel about things, what decisions you make on a regular basis, and ultimately how your life turns out. That’s a bold statement I know. But it’s true. Can you explain to me why EVERY human being you’ve ever met wants to be a health, fit, vital person yet VERY FEW actually do the things necessary to create health, fitness, and vitality? People who take action aren’t cut from a different cloth. They’re not a special snowflake. They have their subconscious mind’s in alignment with what their conscious mind wants, and therefore they DO IT.
2. Sometimes I ask people this question: “what would you do to survive?” Answer: “I’ll do whatever it takes.” This is the kind of leverage you must get get on yourself to ever make a lasting change. You must also reinforce this reality on a DAILY basis. You must condition this into you SOUL.
3. Systems are key. KEY! You must learn how to set up systems for success and plug yourself into them and ‘just do it.’ Take the thinking out of it, and just GO! Without the system, things just simply don’t get done.
4. If you’re not measuring your results, you’ll have no reason to keep going…initially. When you first get started on a work out or dieting regime you are FRAGILE. It is SOOOO easy to quit and give up. Tracking results as if you’re a lion tracking its prey, is CRITICAL. You can ONLY build on success, not failure. Successes must be tracked.
5. Getting motivated and inspired is an emotion. Somedays you just won’t experience this emotion. Therefore you must SEEK it out.
6. When you fully understand what’s taking place in your body, it is no longer arbitrary why you’re doing what you’re doing. When you fully understand the benefits of taking a certain action, and the downfalls of NOT taking a certain action, action is sure to ensue.
So look, I’ve had many people ask me to formulate a system that can be followed. A checklist of things to learn, things to do, complete with the foresight into the potential downfalls and pit stops. Well that system is here. And I’ll be at your side along your journey towards a true transformation. How? By giving you a tuned in system that absolutely works, and by being your coach along the way.

Let me tell you the bad part first.
Whatever you knew about anything is going to go out the window. I expect you to be coming from a ‘blank slate’ state of mind; open, willing, and ready to ACT and follow through. Change is a hard thing. It requires energy and creates stress. Your sense of self is going to change. What you like is going to change. How you see things is going to change. A lot of things are GOING TO CHANGE. But you and I both know this is what it takes.

Imagine coming out the other end and knowing how your brain works and knowing how to take control of it by conditioning your subconscious to match up with your conscious. Imagine FINALLY getting this aspect of your life handled.

- Have the best interests of the players in mind; the work is about the players, not the coach.
- Personally overcame obstacles and gained insight into how others can overcome them
- Articulate, intelligent, and great communicators
To me, a transformation coach is something much more than a personal trainer. A transformation coach acts as a support and partner on this journey towards overall health, wellness and fitness. The difference is simple, and if you stop and think about it, you’re most likely already familiar with the difference.
Go back in your mind and look at a teacher (or even coach) that you admire and remember from school. It could be as early as elementary or as recently as college. Who ever this individual was, they most likely made an important impact on your life. If they were a teacher, although they didn’t carry the distinction of being a “coach”, that is exactly what they were doing with you.
For me, I can think of a handful of people to put on this list, ranging from my science teacher in 7th grade, Mr. Pusey, to my English and Creative Writing teacher in high school, Mr. Park. Both of these individuals pushed me to better myself. They truly loved what they did and that passion was evident daily. Further, their passion wasn’t just about the subject, but it was in showing others just how much there was to love and appreciate about their given subject. Years later I still look back at these two individuals with great admiration.
I’m sure all of you have a story like that; someone who played a roll in getting you to a certain spot in your life, education, or sport. Well, a transformation coach is no different. After years of being in the fitness industry, both as a personal trainer and an individual being trained, I’ve realized there is a much larger need out there in order to bring true transformation.
