Most people recognize Joe Rogan as the announcer of the UFC or the host of the television show Fear Factor. What most people aren’t aware of is that Joe Rogan is really interesting person that is quite an intellect and a hilarious comedian. A lot can be learned from him. In fact, I’d say that his ideas, philosophies, and outlooks on life have influenced me in many ways. He’s very crass and vulgar. If you’re easily offended, you probably shouldn’t watch these clips.
Also, in a few of these videos he discusses psychedelic drug use. I don’t personally do drugs, or advocate them for that matter (like Rogan does). However I do believe it’s interesting to hear him talk about them and discuss his experiences and epiphanies. There’s nothing wrong with thought experiments and evaluating different perspectives and ways of life. In fact, there’s something wrong with not engaging your mind to think outside of your current reality.
Almost all of these YouTube videos are clippings off of Rogan’s podcast where he has hilarious and enlightening conversations with other interesting comedians and people. If you find yourself bored at work and need some background listening material, it may be a good option.
