2 Videos That Everyone MUST See

What do all human beings want?

I’m convinced that what every single person on planet earth wants is simply more life.

People want to experience more joy, more passion, more love, more depth. I strongly believe that the desire to experience the most out of life is a god-given instinct ingrained in all people.

What else could account for the amount of innovation that humans have been able to pull off? I don’t see any other monkeys sending things into outer space, do you? I don’t see any lions sitting down to have a philosophical discussion trying to figure out the origins of life. All I see them doing is the same thing they’ve always done, surviving and replicating.

I believe that human innovation and ingenuity are a result of our instinct to want to experience as much living as possible.

The problem is, many times people aren’t consciously aware of their instinct to continuously strive to experience more out of life and so they get fooled into going for false solutions time and time again.

People turn to drugs, over-eating, gambling, addictions of all sort in an unconscious attempt to fulfill their instinct to get more life. Obviously, as you and I both know, instant gratification as a tactic to experience more life doesn’t work, especially in the long term.

So what is the real solution?

How can we truly experience more joy, more passion, more love, more depth?

Step one is realizing that this is what you’re after. Just becoming conscious of this has been incredibly powerful for me. It acts as a ‘filter’ for evaluating options in my life. One of my favorite quote that applies to almost every scenario in life is “when you don’t stand for something, you’ll fall for anything.”

I stand for more life.

Step two is practice. What I mean by practice is taking time everyday to manifest and feel those things.

I’ve noticed that my ability to experience joy is a muscle. The more I train and develop it, the stronger it gets and more I get use out of it.

Same thing goes for feeling love, living passionately, and experiencing depth. These are emotional muscles that must be exercised. This isn’t really a metaphor, it’s actually reality. It is literally identical to training a physical muscle.
